Far Out Pairings 1On September 22, we held one of our most unique classes so far.  We stretched our culinary muscles to show the versatility of cheese with some unconventional pairings.  Think potato chips, seaweed, kimchi and more.

We chose one cheese from each cheese category and then had some fun.  Just in case you want to have some fun at home, here are the pairings we tasted that night.

Fresh Cheese:
Haystack Chevre (Local) + Sesame Kingdom Beet-Zatar Tahini (Local) + Roasted Beets

Semi-Soft Cheese:
Springbrook Farms Reading + Kimchi

Semi-Hard Cheese:
Idiazabal + Deep River BBQ Potato Chips

Hard Cheese:
Parmigiano Reggiano + Pineapple Marmalade + Dried Mango

Washed Rind
Haystack Funkmeister + Charred Scallions + Mike’s Hot Honey

Blue Cheese
Jasper Hills Bayley Hazen Blue + Chunky Pig Love Popcorn
